Giacomo Turra, the talented Italian guitarist, was born in Milan in 1997. A self-taught musician, he discovered his passion for the guitar at the age of 13, inspired by the vinyl collection of artists like Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Weather Report owned by his father. Venturing into various original music projects spanning R&B, Funk, and Jazz, Giacomo’s musical prowess continued to evolve.
Amid the pandemic in March 2020, Giacomo turned to Instagram, sharing captivating snippets of his performances. The videos quickly gained traction, propelling him to the status of a D’Angelico Guitars Artist in New York, and amassing a global fan base.
In July 2021, Giacomo showcased his skills with the release of “The Groove Sessions,” a compilation of soulful tracks featuring collaborations with renowned musicians and singers from around the world.
